    Job Description:

    Schedule - Monday - Friday 7 am - 5 pm.

    As a Clinic Call Center Specialist you need to know how to
    • Answer, direct, and prioritize telephone calls and messages to correct clinic or department
    • Triage calls according to priority and urgency, transferring calls as necessary
    • Document all conversations, demographics to Electronic Medical Record timely and accurately
    • Obtain complete and accurate clinical, demographic and financial information during the scheduling process
    • Follow guidelines for special requests/Stat/schedule modification procedures and coordinate communications with clinical areas to accommodate the customers requests.
    Minimum Qualifications
    • High School diploma or equivalent, required
    • At least one (1) year experience in a medical field, preferred
    • At least one (1) year experience in a call center or high volume call position, preferred
    • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, preferred
    Physical Requirements:
    • Interact with others by effectively communicating, both orally and in writing.
    • Operate computers and other office equipment requiring the ability to move fingers and hands.
    • See and read computer monitors and documents.
    • Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to perform work on a computer, telephone, or other equipment.
    • May require lifting and transporting objects and office supplies, bending, kneeling and reaching.
