    The Analyst, HR Business Systems


    is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and creating comprehensive work products documenting user stories, and acceptance criteria, conducting validation and traceability for existing and new applications supporting various business channels.

    This position understands how organizations function to accomplish their purpose and defines the capabilities an organization requires to provide a service or meet its goals.

    This position facilitates communication between organizational units to align the needs of business units to create work products for solution providers.

    This role plans, directs, and completes the analysis of business problems to be solved or products/services to be developed for delivery.

    This role provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost-effective and meet user requirements.

    This role assesses system impacts and provides gap and process analysis as well as cost/benefit analysis for system or product/service-related initiatives.


    This role plans and executes business validation and user acceptance testing of delivered solutions, which entails managing defects and ensuring traceability.

    Job Responsibilities :
    Elicits and evaluates information gathered from various sources, reconciles conflicts, decomposes high-level information into details, abstracts up from low-level information to a more general understanding

    Distinguishes presented user requests from the underlying true needs and distinguishes solution ideas from requests.

    Understand how policies, systems, and processes impact requests/projects. Shares business knowledge and understanding among business systems analysts and project collaborators.

    Brokers consensus among collaborators with conflicting needs.

    Facilitates requirement sessions with team members and builds comprehensive work products documenting requirements, including validation and traceability of requests.

    Uses modeling approach to represent requirement information in graphical forms that augment textual representation.


    Develop a business analysis work plan to handle own tasks, results, and schedule and provide information to partners and Project Management.

    Depends on other knowledge areas of BSA's in the development of their work plans.

    Provide SME leadership and consulting support on sophisticated tasks. Initiate and complete initiatives to improve the processes, procedures, and tools used by the team. Reviews deliverables and provides input for other analysts. Solid grasp of all business channels.

    Contributes to process improvement initiatives.

    Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.


    Education :
    Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field; equivalent work experience considered (Required)


    Work Experience :
    2-4 years working experience of systems analysis experience with understanding strategic business information systems (Required)

    2-4 years working experience in technical writing and business systems analysis (Preferred)

    Jira, User Story Elicitation, Agile Delivery Methodology

    (Preferred)

    Washington Pay Range:
    $85, $116,000.00

    o The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed.

    The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay may be above or below this range.


    o At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role.

    Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year.

    Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance, while Retail and Business Sales roles are eligible for monthly or quarterly sales incentives.
