Job Summary

The GPMO team mission is to continuously develop and improve our Product Lifecycle Management Processes which includes New Product Development and Introduction NPDI and ETO and Design Transfers The NPDI Continuous Improvement Manager is responsible for identifying and leading initiatives that reduce Vertiv's product development cycle time the manager will be responsible for defining and driving Operational Excellence in the product development process


Act on process improvement actions from many sources including our Operating Model KPIs Leadership actions Lessons Learned lean workshops Kaizens Use lean principles identify waste continuously improve NPDI processes Document process improvements in Standard Operating Procedures built into the Operating model accompanied by communications training for process users Support on the job training affected functions key process steps in the NPDI process Additionally then manager may engage in assisting PMs documenting their critical path summarizing critical path norms across portfolio comparing complexity rating projects TTM performance understanding root causes recommending corrective actions projects Schedule Slip TTM helping drive accountability Schedule Slip TTM This work may yield sources best practice further incorporate into updates
