This role involves ensuring a balance between supply and demand for production needs while keeping inventory flow consistent and efficient. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Guarantee material availability to meet daily production requirements and reach set objectives.
  • Assess daily material status and communicate any shortages during regular customer meetings.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams to oversee order planning and completion.
  • Address material shortages through appropriate escalation procedures.
  • Verify and input unexpected component demands.
  • Handle material requirement adjustments and dispositions related to engineering change notifications and product end-of-life processes.
  • Conduct monthly reorder point sizing activities.
  • Perform weekly analysis of internal excess and obsolete items, including identifying root causes and devising action plans.
  • Conduct quarterly review of external excess and obsolete items.
  • Manage price purchase variances and adhere to the SUK process.
  • Carry out any other assigned tasks.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with SAP/Oracle is desirable.
Education and Experience:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business or Supply Chain is a must, while a Master's degree is advantageous.
  • Ideally 0-2 years of Supply Chain experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Previous contract manufacturing exposure is beneficial.
