Description

This role involves ensuring a balance between supply and demand for production needs while keeping inventory flow consistent and efficient. Duties and Responsibilities:

Guarantee material availability to meet daily production requirements and reach set objectives.
Assess daily material status and communicate any shortages during regular customer meetings.
Collaborate with diverse teams to oversee order planning and completion.
Address material shortages through appropriate escalation procedures.
Verify and input unexpected component demands.
Handle material requirement adjustments and dispositions related to engineering change notifications and product end-of-life processes.
Conduct monthly reorder point sizing activities.
Perform weekly analysis of internal excess and obsolete items, including identifying root causes and devising action plans.
Conduct quarterly review of external excess and obsolete items.
Manage price purchase variances and adhere to the SUK process.
Carry out any other assigned tasks.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with SAP/Oracle is desirable.

Education and Experience:

A Bachelor's degree in Business or Supply Chain is a must, while a Master's degree is advantageous.
Ideally 0-2 years of Supply Chain experience in a manufacturing setting.
Previous contract manufacturing exposure is beneficial.
