- Responsible for fulfilling customer orders by pulling products.
- Duties may involve tasks like loading/unloading products, distributing pallets, staging materials, and performing freight handling using appropriate equipment.
- Utilize hand-held tracking devices if necessary.
- Ensure proper documentation of adjustments for product shortages and maintain accurate records.
- Report any mechanical or product/packaging issues promptly.
- Communicate effectively with other departments and management regarding any production concerns.
- Assist in identifying process improvement opportunities with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices and maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Follow all required safety practices and food safety protocols.
- Conduct trailer checks and perform any other assigned duties.
- 2nd shift position.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in basic mathematical operations and experience working in the food and beverage industry.
- Minimum 2 years of recent forklift operating experience in a high efficiency setting.
- Ability to pass written and driving forklift skills tests.
- Capable of physically demanding tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds frequently.
- Willingness to work in a cold environment and flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
- Strong team player with effective communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and passing all pre-employment screens.
