    Position Overview: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Environmental Remediation Engineer to join a Premier Environmental Consultancy in Los Angeles, California. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and executing environmental remediation projects, utilizing their expertise to ensure compliance with regulatory standards while delivering innovative solutions to complex environmental challenges.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Lead and manage environmental remediation projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and regulatory requirements.
    • Conduct site assessments, investigations, and feasibility studies to develop remediation strategies tailored to specific project objectives.
    • Design, implement, and oversee remediation systems, including soil and groundwater treatment technologies, in-situ remediation techniques, and vapor intrusion mitigation measures.
    • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff members, fostering professional growth and development within the team.
    • Collaborate with clients, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders to effectively communicate project goals, progress, and outcomes.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory developments to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
    • Professional Engineer (PE) license in California, or the ability to obtain licensure within a reasonable timeframe.
    • Minimum of 8 years of experience in environmental remediation, with a focus on contaminated site cleanup and remediation system design.
    • Proven track record of successfully managing complex remediation projects, including experience with soil and groundwater remediation technologies.
    • Strong understanding of federal, state, and local environmental regulations governing site remediation activities.
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
