    Job Summary:

    The ideal candidate is detail and deadline oriented, self-motivated yet works well in a team and has solid interpersonal skills. A general securities transfer agent / financial services background will be an advantage for the candidate, but not required. Training will be provided. Candidate must be able to multitask and prioritize.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Creation of instructions to process the records to create a report that brings the records current such as:
      • Updating dividends
      • Updating records for a reorg, stock split or other security transactions
      • Updating the records to determine what property is eligible to be reported to each state on the record
      • Reviewing the records for any anomaly and raise this to their manager and the client service representation assigned to the client whose records are being processed

    Education and Experience:

    Under-graduate degree or 5 years work experience

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    Customer Service skills required
    Unclaimed property knowledge is preferred

    Work Environment:

    The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate as the employee works in an office setting, at an individual work station, using telephone and computer

    Physical Demands:

    • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for most of the day
    • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a printer/copy machine
    • This position needs to occasionally move about inside the office
    • The person in this position frequently communicates via telephone
