    Overview

    IT manager for a start-up environment to run and support variety of IT needs. This is a very hands-on role. We are looking for the following soft skills:

    Responsibilities

    • Maintain processes to secure the integrity of all technology-related resources of the organization.
    • Responsible for the configuration, support, audit, and improvement of the organizations technology assets.
    • Configure, deploy and maintain all network-related equipment.
    • Configure, deploy and maintain all software and computer systems of the organization.
    • Create and maintain network documentation.
    • Provide end-user support and outstanding customer service.
    • Respond to and efficiently resolve outages and interruptions.
    • Audit the use of existing productivity software systems. Where needed, research and implement new productivity software systems, terminate obsolete or unused systems, and ensure uniform use across the organization.
    • Maintain inventory of software licenses and ensure compliance.
    • Train staff and users to use systems and applications as needed.
    • Ability to travel 30%, sometimes in large blocks of time = 1 week+ (first year may require more travel)
    • Ability to work across time zones to support other locations.

    Required Experience

    • 8+ years of experience working in an IT environment.
    • 5+ years experience in System Administration
    • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office O365/2016, Microsoft Windows 7 and 10, Ruckus, Cisco, Ubiquiti, Apple OSX, and Windows Active Directory.
    • Proficiency with MacOS, and iOS installations and support.
    • Effective communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
    • Experience with web development technologies. (This is not a web development position).
    • Experience installing and managing audio-visual systems, teleconferencing, CCTV and video surveillance.
    • Proven analytical skills and ability to make clear recommendations and decisions.
    • Proven ability to anticipate and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related problems.
    • Able to work independently within a team environment.
    • Able to drive work efficiently to meet deadlines.
