This position is responsible for analyzing, evaluating, monitoring and/or documenting compliance activities while communicating and making recommendations to management to help ensure the company complies with applicable laws, regulations, policies or procedures.
Whether it is executing testing or providing operational, technical support, tasks involve thoughtfully, effectively and efficiently reviewing data, transactions, records, processes and other outcomes according to departmental policies and procedures.
This work is completed independently with minimal supervision when completing assignments in accordance with department standards for timeliness, accuracy and completeness.
Education and Experience:
3-5 years of Banking or Regulatory related experience (or educational equivalent)
Skills and Abilities:
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Strong analytical skills and creative problem solver
Strong collaboration skills and ability to establish working relationships at all levels of the company
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
Strong research skills and familiarity with banking laws and regulations
Demonstrated ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, completing many tasks simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail and an appropriate sense of urgency
Tasks Performed:
80% - Complete primarily less complex and/or lower risk assignments by thoughtfully, effectively and efficiently reviewing data, transactions, records, processes and other outcomes according to departmental policies and procedures timely and according to department standards.
5% - Develop summary information and recommendations based on results of your assignments.
5% - Perform other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements:
Communicate effectively with internal and/or external customers
Stationary 75% of time or greater
Move Objects to Maximum 10 lbs
