KBR's Readiness and Sustainment Business Unit seeks an experienced HR Manager to provide regional support to work teams, manage and oversee employee-centric activities that drive engagement, retention and company culture
Work closely with colleagues within HR and other related Functional and Operations teams across KBR
This individual will have a strong background managing people and HR activities, and a broad array of generalist experience with a focus in employee relations and remote client group support as an HR business partner
They will lead a small team and will enjoy implementing and championing "best workplace" programs and projects across the organization
This role is on a military installation at Blount Island – Jacksonville, FL This role is not eligible for remote work
Duties and Responsibilities:
The responsibilities and duties may include but are not limited to the following: Implementation and administration of HR programs, policies, processes, and procedures designed to attract, retain and reward employees in alignment with overall business strategy and growth initiatives Knowledge of a broad range of human resources strategies and practices, including compensation, performance management, talent acquisition, and employee and labor relations; must have the ability to execute strategies in compliance with employment laws.
Develop and implement policies and practices across the workforce to ensure consistency and alignment with Company policies, the Collective Bargaining Agreement and employment laws.
Direct and/or perform a variety of diverse assignments covering a wide range of human resource functions (i.e., employee relations, training, labor relations, talent acquisition and international labor laws).
Works in close partnership with the Legal team to ensure the right balance of risk mitigation, engagement, and fairness is delivered;Participation in the development and implementation of functional strategy and associated program/process rollout and ongoing administration
Assist with the development of employee engagement activities and other "best workplace" initiatives, as well as have responsibility for their implementation
Ability to analyze workforce data and develop and implement retention strategies.
Oversees, conducts and leads complex investigations related to allegations of harassment, discrimination, wage & hour and policy violations;
Experience leading in a union environment
Serves as the primary interface between managers, employees, legal, Ethics and the Dispute Resolution Program regarding human resource related issues
Create and maintain a record of all investigations and cases using proper documentation standards throughout the investigation process.
Drives cultural adoption of employee relations models and skills through communication and training for managers and employees; develops and leads training for managers on performance management best practices;
Provide guidance/direction to human resources staff on complex projects/assignments and makes decisions where written guidelines may not be available.
Expertise in coaching and counseling employees, supervisors, and managers to proactively address employee relations and performance management concerns.
Supervise direct reports and establishes performance objectives/goals.
Tracks relevant employee data, metrics & trends to help inform process improvements and approaches.
Collaborate with Recruiting Manager to Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
Collaborate with the Hiring Managers to understand staffing needs and ensure timely and successful placements.
Ability to work well in a team environment Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance, military base access and a Common Access Card (CAC).
Basic Qualifications and Skills Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field required and 12+ years relevant HR experience, or in lieu of degree 16+ years relevant experience
8-10 years HR management experience
8+ years Employee Relations experience
8+ years of professional experience providing HRBP support.
A minimum of 8 years leadership experience
HR-related certification (SHRM-CP, PHR) completed or planned completion within 6months of hire.
Willingness to travel 10-20% as will be necessary to support the needs of the business
Preferred Qualifications and Skills Requirements (optional): Hands-on Workday administration experience with fluency in HR transaction processing within this HRIS
Deltek Costpoint timekeeping and expense reporting system user
Advanced Microsoft Office suite proficiency – Excel, especially (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, et
Al.
Experience with International Labor Law
Previous experience working on a Government contract or military experience is a plus
Scheduled Weekly Hours:
Minimum 40 hours per week
