VB.NET Applications Developer (Contract)

Great long term contract/contract-to-hire career opportunity for a VB.NET Applications Developer to join a High Profile Financial Institution.

In this role you will develop, integrate and support robust, secure, and multi-platform financial applications.

This will include in-house applications and vendor solutions in a highly integrated enterprise environment.

Lots of exciting projects and initiatives.

Requirements include:

• 5+ years of experience developing applications in banking environment
• Applications development using: Visual Studio; VB.NET Framework; ; JavaScript coding/scripting; API use and implementation
• Database: database design; SQL Server stored procedure, view and trigger development; database normalization; database query building
• Experience with Capital Markets (FX, Fixed Income, Derivatives,.) and related systems (Summit, Murex, Calypso,...) preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related course of study
