    About the Job Title and Company
    Join us at SAM as a Senior Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) Project Manager, P.E., as we continue to lead the way in Indianapolis, IN.

    Your role will involve:

    • Strategic Leadership: Drive the enhancement of utility coordination capabilities and establish SAM as a prominent player in the SUE industry in Indianapolis
    • Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of SUE projects while maintaining quality, timeliness, and budget adherence
    • Business Development: Identify new opportunities, build relationships, and expand market presence in SUE and utility coordination sectors
    • Team Development: Mentor a high-performing team to encourage collaboration and growth among technicians, engineers, and coordinators
    • Quality Assurance: Implement strict QA processes to ensure the reliability and accuracy of SUE deliverables, driving continuous improvement
    • Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with regulations and safety protocols to foster a safety-conscious culture

    What we seek in you:

    • Related industry work experience in a professional or management role
    • Associates or Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
    • Demonstrated experience in project/phase management for large-scale projects
    • Proficiency with tools like AutoCAD, Micro Station, Geopack, MS Office Suite
    • Excellent communication skills for clear assignment definition to team members
    • Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
    • Capability to meet demanding deadlines while fostering teamwork
    • Professional License or quick ability to obtain one
