    Description

    Come join our community We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a full-time overnight emergency doctor in our busy Emergency and Critical Care Department that currently includes 3 DACVECCs, 3 doctors who are residency trained in E/CC, and 12 full-time emergency staff doctors.

    Friendship has a robust and interesting caseload typically consisting of 45-50 ER outpatients and 25-30 inpatients daily.

    What You Will Be Doing:
    Emergency receiving; supervising intern doctors receiving
    Minor surgical procedures, such as laceration and bite wound management
    Caring for in-hospital patients in the ICU and Progressive Care Unit
    Collaborating with specialists and general practitioners to ensure the best care for all patients
    Communicating with clients
    Mentoring rotating interns
    Communicating with referring veterinarians
    Training and mentoring support staff
    DVM / VMD / or equivalent degree from an AVMA accredited School of Veterinary Medicine or will graduate from an accredited school of Veterinary Medicine with a doctorate degree in Veterinary Medicine
    Compensation is negotiable based on skills and experience. Relocation assistance available
