    Must-haves

    • Bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational development or a related field is required, advanced degree is preferred.
    • 5+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources with increasing responsibilities.
    • Experience supporting an organization which serves federal government clients required.
    • Proven track record in all HR generalist areas including but not limited to performance management, compensation, employee relations, recruiting, compliance, AAP, and benefits.
    • Analytical skills demonstrating the ability to extract, format, analyze and interpret data and organize the information in a way to effectively communicate.
    • Experience with implementation of performance and engagement platforms.
    • Experience with HRIS systems, Oracle and Taleo preferred.
    • Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
    • High level of reliability, follow-through, and sensitivity with confidential information.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of human resources practices and procedures.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of the relevant laws and regulations pertaining to the human resources function.
    • Ability to successfully interact with all levels in the organization.
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Must be able to pass pre-employment screening in compliance with company policy.

    Day-to-Day

    We are currently seeking an experienced HR Business Partner in our New York Headquarters to support us for a period of 16 weeks while our HR Lead in on a leave. In this position you will have responsibility for all HR functions for our 240 employee organization.

    Responsibilities:

    Provides consulting and functional expertise on HR deliverables to the business, such as recruitment, performance management, compensation, employee relations, and leave administration.

    • Answers benefit related questions as needed.
    • Manages termination and layoff process as needed.
    • Participates and has responsibility for compliance with our Affirmative Action Plan.
    • Develops and maintains effective working relationships with managers, employees, and HR peers.
    • Manage full life-cycle recruitment process from sourcing applicants, screening resumes,
    • interview coordination, background checks, offers, closing and onboarding.
    • Provides coaching and support to supervisors as needed.
    • Ensures compliance with affirmative action, EEO regulations, Federal and State regulations and all other regulatory requirements as needed.
