    Description
    Responsibilities

    Prepares boards for machine soldering operation, cleans boards, and masks designated areas
    Inspect PCBs for defects
    Responsible for the set-up and operation of wave soldering machine used in soldering of PCB under limited supervision
    Perform preventive maintenance of wave soldering equipment including de-drossing according to procedures
    Check circuit boards in process for missing solder, solder bridges, missing parts, and lifted parts

    Qualifications
    Familiar with setup and operations of the Wave soldering machine processes
    Experience in water-soluble, no-clean, and lead-free solder applications in processes
    Ability to read work instructions and procedures
    Good communication skills
    Experience in contract manufacturing
    Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
    Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibility
    Familiarity with most tools and equipment in a machine shop, including Lathes, Grinders, Saws, Debarring Equipment, Various Measuring Tools, Must be able to read and write in English
