Aviation Inventory Control Coordinator - Salt Lake City

Job summary
The Aviation Inventory Controller Coordinator is primarily responsible for performing an array of inventory, logistics and customer support functions that include shipping and receiving stocking handling inventory cycle counts and preparing large products for freight shipments all while maintaining a safe and orderly warehouse in an FAA regulated environment.This role works closely with purchasing department accounting support department safety and quality departments maintenance managers aircraft mechanics other GMR Air Company Managers Supervisors to coordinate maximize efficiencies of the department.
Responsibilities Include Receiving all incoming parts verifying invoices packing sheets physical quantities Inspect all aviation parts serviceability traceability meet Federal Aviation Administration FAA industry requirements Facilitate shipping support outgoing materials verify products within expiration dates serviceable condition before shipping Ensure shipping methods comply maintenance delivery times hazardous materials regulation guidelines met arranging appropriate shipping products Maintain inventory stock levels Maintain high level of attention cleanliness 6s standards in inventory storage locations Return part cores as necessary Perform periodic physical inventory counts audits ensure appropriate quantities items stocked correct locations Resolve discrepancies between systems physical counts including stock checks cycle counts research correcting displaced mislabeled missing products Organize stock shelves per system specified zone bin locations using FIFO rules identifying obsolete expired products ensuring warehouse well maintained staging areas clearly defined Process material requisition accurately picking processing orders issued document proactively escalating supply issues resulting work stoppages grounded Aircraft Provide after hours weekend support AOGs rotational on call schedule Resolve accounting receiving quality issues timely acceptance payment material Perform other duties responsibilities requested sense humor team spirit Experience Requirements Two years experience supply chain concepts Advanced computer skills preferably experience using computer based tracking system High school diploma equivalent Aviation industry experience preferred To learn more about GMR how our values core services vital care visit EEO Statement Global Medical Response family companies Equal Opportunity Employer supporting veterans providing reasonable accommodations individuals disability Benefits | GMR Careers learn comprehensive benefit options medical vision dental 401k disability FSA HSA EAP vacation paid time off Application window position anticipated close R0049664
