In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing accounting functions across multiple properties, ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures while integrating best practices for optimal performance.     ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Included, but not limited to, are the following: other duties may be assigned.

    1. Safeguard assets and assure accurate and timely recording of all transactions by implementing disciplines of internal audits, controls and checks across all departments and entities.
    2. Extensive Consolidated Balance Sheet Review and Reconciliation
    3. Lead and direct the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day activities of accounts payable, cash disbursements, fixed asset records, general accounting.
    4. Prepare monthly and weekly cash flow forecast.
    5. Assistance with the development, improvement and issuance of timely monthly consolidated financial records for executive management team.
    6. Ensure financial plans are consistent with organizational goals.
    7. Provide financial analysis tools to evaluate company ventures, programs, capital expenditures, products costing, etc.
    8. Interface with outside audit firms(s), banks and lessors, casualty/liability insurance agent(s), credit card companies, and collection agencies.
    9. Assist in providing visionary, strategic and functional leadership on behalf of finance and accounting across the organization, in accordance with strategic objectives.
    10. Perform various other duties as assigned in order to meet company objectives

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    This position will supervise 4-5 accountants and must be proactive in defining roles and accountabilities, as well as in evaluating, mentoring, coaching and counseling members of the assigned properties' finance teams. Sets a positive example and is a great motivator of people around key objectives.



    Responsibilities

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

    Bachelor's degree in accounting and/or finance plus 3+ years of accounting experience.

    LANGUAGE SKILLS

    Strong written and verbal communication skills

    REASONING / ORGANIZATION

    Possesses strong organizational, just be multi-task and detailed oriented, and has a track record of meeting deadlines and delivering on goals
