    Travel Job Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN with a NM or compact license, advanced certifications, and prior ER experience.

    Responsibilities Work in a 23-bed hospital Emergency Department Typical patient ratio is 1:4-6 in the ER setting Shift is 1:00pm to 1:00am, covering a 12-hour mids schedule Floating is required but infrequent EMR system used is Cerner and Mindray telemetry monitoring equipment Royal blue scrubs are required Direct patient care to diverse ER patient population, supporting acute and emergent needs Blocked scheduling may be accommodated if not the same days each week No local travelers accepted within a 50-mile radius Limited RTO-requests for time off must be less than one week All travelers must wear royal blue scrubs First-time travelers will be considered Requirements Active NM or compact state RN license required Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience required Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, and SAMA or CPI Fingerprinting required for all New Mexico travel RNs No certifications can expire within the first 30 days of the assignment No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months Must not have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined
