- Ability to design and implement workflows within the Workday ERP system for AP. AR, GL, Budget, and Payroll
- Utilizing knowledge of accounting practices, assist Finance and HR departments to improve processes using the Workday ERP System
- Utilizing knowledge of accounting practices, implement, administer, and maintain a cashiering software solution for processing transactions
- Basic understanding of SQL and databases
- Ability to run and understand SQL queries
- Understanding of networking fundamentals and troubleshooting
- Familiar with Windows desktop and Windows server functions and basic troubleshooting
- Ability to read and write basic scripts, schedule execution, to aid in data movements, application maintenance, and monitoring
- Ability to work with departments to document workflows in current process and propose and assist in developing improvements utilizing existing technology solutions or new application selection
- Assist departments with their development of workflows within collaboration tools such as Teams, SharePoint, and Windows to improve efficiency
- Ability to write clear and concise support information for applications in Knowledge Base for both IT and end users to aid in self-service and expanding support across team

- Communicate issues that may affect a project to the project manager
- Oversee the implementation of new systems and data migrations
- Become the trusted primary point of contact between CCIT and an assigned department
- As department or application subject matter expert work with Project Manager on project intake
- Understand the essence of the department's line of business and how their work affects other department's processes
- Have a high-level understanding of the workflow within the department and flow of information
- Meet regularly with the key contact within the department
- Understand the department's desired outcomes and bring the information back to CCIT leadership
- Identify needs and recommend software to fill needs
- Know how the department's existing applications work in general terms
- Understand interfaces to other systems and file exports/imports to state and federal entities
- Train users
- Monitor Application team incident queue and evaluate if incident has enough information to be actionable, follow up with submitter to get additional details
- Review runbooks and Knowledge Bases for troubleshooting information
- Attempt to resolve issues, if possible, troubleshoot issues to the extent possible such as network connectivity, DNS, drive space etc.
- Coordinate support from other teams within CCITC such as other analysts, Help Desk, PC support, developers, and network staff
- Open and monitor incident with vendors to ensure issue is documented, key internal personnel are identified, incident is being worked on, and ultimately incident is resolved
- Stay up to date on department communications to vendors to ensure that requests and issues are addressed
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts to ensure support is available according to Service Level Agreements
- Review application state to ensure versions are up to date and update as necessary to maintain support and enable new features
- Update vendor software with periodic upgrades; downloads programs / software patches/fixes from internet
- Design and write test scripts to be performed on both test and production systems to ensure problems are fixed and new issues are found prior to production changes
- Utilize test environments and testing scripts prior to upgrades, updates, or patches to ensure operation after updates or changes
- Assist in design of interfaces between multiple systems and coordinate testing of these interfaces across multiple vendors
- Enter data to service request tracking database
- Enter information into a time reporting system
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees and the public
- Maintain confidential information
- Commute between City, County, NCHC and other partner offices

Purpose of the Position:
The purpose of the IT Applications Analyst position is to ensure that our customers have the right applications to support their organization's goals. This is accomplished through a combination of relationship partnering and application support with several key customers. This position would focus on ERP financial software and related applications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The following duties are normal for this classification. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.
Skills
Associate or bachelor's degree in MIS or other Information Technology degree preferred. At least 2-3 years' experience as an analyst within an IT organization providing business analysis and applications support. 2-3 years' experience in a financial role. A combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities will be considered.
This position is an exempt salaried position. Anticipated Starting Salary: $73,923 - $90,000.
