    Job Description

    Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years occupational therapy experience required.

    We are currently seeking a Part-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team for the Extended School Year (ESY) program in Forest City, PA. The OT will work one day per week for three hours, providing specialized occupational therapy services to a caseload of six students ranging in age from 6 to 20 years old.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Conduct prehensive assessments of students' motor skills, sensory processing abilities, and functional performance.
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' specific goals and needs.
    • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in both individual and small group settings.
    • Collaborate with other members of the educational team, including teachers, speech therapists, and parents, to support students' overall development and success.
    • Monitor and document students' progress towards goals, adjusting interventions as necessary to maximize outes.
    • Provide consultation and remendations for classroom acmodations and modifications to support students' participation and success in the educational environment.

    Qualifications:

    • Must hold a valid license to practice as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in the state of Pennsylvania.
    • Previous experience working with school-aged children and adolescents preferred.
    • Knowledge of evidence-based occupational therapy practices and interventions for students with a variety of disabilities.
    • Strong munication and collaboration skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
    • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students in an educational setting.
