    Job Description


    American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring circulator experience and a NC or compact RN license.

    Responsibilities

    • Work in a hospital setting with 5 operating rooms and 2 procedure rooms currently staffed
    • Average of 23 surgical patients per day with specialties including general, orthopedic, urology, GYN, podiatry, pediatric dentistry, burn, ENT, pain, and vascular
    • Shift options are or , Monday through Friday
    • On-call required every 8th-10th weekend and one night during the week, 5 out of 10 weeks
    • Holiday coverage required for 75% of holidays
    • No floating required
    • Uses Epic EMR and surgical equipment specific to the operating room
    • Main responsibilities include circulating for surgical procedures across various specialties
    • Support is available within the department
    • Green scrubs are provided by the facility
    • Free parking is available for staff
    • Department culture adheres to standardized protocols
    • Orientation includes facility onboarding and 2 days of departmental training
    • Time off requests require manager approval

    Requirements

    • Active NC or compact RN license
    • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
    • Minimum of 2 years of operating room circulator experience
    • Experience with Epic EMR preferred
    • First-time travelers are not preferred
