Job Summary
+The Engine Boss leads a crew of 1-2 firefighters on a type 6 engine crew performing fire suppression and fuels management duties in adverse climate, fuel, and terrain conditions.+
Responsibilities
- Prepare and mobilize by assuring individual readiness and obtaining a briefing from the incident.
- Establish and maintain the physical fitness level necessary to effectively perform hard physical labor for extended periods of time under adverse climate, fuel, and terrain conditions.
