EXB Solutions (a Quest Global company) is hiring Software Engineers to work onsite with a team of skilled Software Engineers developing Satellite Ground Stations Software in Java.

This role is onsite at Aurora, CO (candidates must reside or be willing to relocate). All candidates to meet the requirements of the job to be considered including US Citizenship and Active Clearance.

RESPONSIBILITIES TO ANTICIPATE:
Develop and maintain Java-based backend applications for satellite ground systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement robust server-side solutions.
Modify and improve existing codebases for enhanced performance and scalability.
Conduct software design and code reviews, integrating best practices and innovations.
Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, ensuring adherence to Agile principles.
Participate in system integration and project milestone completion under guidance from supervisors.
Keep abreast of advancements in Java and related technologies to drive continuous innovation.
This role requires

US Citizenship, Active Clearance, and working onsite. Candidates must meet the requirements of this job to be considered. This role is onsite therefore all candidates must reside Aurora, CO or be willing to relocate.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience
Software development experience using Java or other object-oriented software language.
Java strongly required
Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience with C++ and Python.
Experience working with the Atlassian Tool suite.
Experience developing software in an Agile and/or DevOps environments.
Previous work satellite GPS software desirable.

Experience with one or more areas of satellite ground system software such as mission management, planning and scheduling, command and telemetry, satellite operations, or flight dynamics models.
