    MyCare Medical Group is seeking a highly experienced and patient-centric Internal or Family Medicine Physician to join our team in southern Pinellas County.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Established Patient Panel with an expectation of seeing 20+ patients per day
    Diagnose, treat and counsel patients on their current medical conditions and educate patients on preventative health measures, including performing annual physicals

    Demonstrates both autonomy and proficiency in performance of comprehensive health assessments and communicate Plan of Care with Patients and/or their families.

    Ensure that all charts and medical records are accurately completed in a timely manner; and adhere to all clinical policies and procedures
    Perform such clinical procedures for patient's benefit which are within scope and skill of practitioner, and which are economically feasible
    Provide direction and leadership to the clinic's medical support staff, regarding the administering of a patient's care
    Provide supervision in case assignment to nurse practitioner/physician assistant, including sign off on charts, where applicable
    Effectively communicates with all members of the care team and facilitates a medically appropriate and effective plan of care to avoid unnecessary duplication of testing, and fragmentation of care


    SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
    Degree from accredited MD OR DO accredited program; Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine is preferred.
    Board Certified OR Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
    Unrestricted Medical License and DEA Licensure in the state of Florida or the ability to obtain a license prior to employment
    Up-to-date CPR Certification and Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
    Strong organizational and prioritization skills
    Demonstrated ability to problem-solve complex and multifaceted situations
    Ability to use Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system – specifically eClinical Works (ECW)
    Knowledge of Medical Advantage, HEIDS, MRA and ICD-10 Coding is a plus
    Comfortable managing a primarily Medicare-aged patient population
    Knowledge of Value-Based Care models
