- Graduate of an AMA accredited School for Respiratory Therapy or equivalent
- Minimum of one year acute care experience in Respiratory Services or respiratory related care preferred.
- Current CA RCP license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS (within 90 daus of hire)
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred

Overview
The Respiratory Care Practitioner II (RCP II) is responsible for providing safe, quality patient care and teaching to patients and families.
Additional responsibilities include collaboration with the healthcare team, participation in ongoing feedback regarding performance improvement, impementation of clinical pathway/plan of care to guide patient care delivery.
Responsibilities
The RCP II must demonstrate proficiency in the following areas: adult general care areas (Telemetry and Med-Surge), critical care areas (Intensive Care Unit and Cardiovascular Unit), and Emergency Room.
