Job Duties:
S&P Global Market Intelligence, Inc.

seeks a Release Engineer who will analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.

Design, develop, and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design.

Store, retrieve, and manipulate data for analysis of system capabilities and requirements.

Confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers, and others to design systems and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements, and interfaces.

Consult with customers about software system design and maintenance. Modify existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance.

Document the code fixes, enhancements for applications throughout the project as a reference for future maintenance and upgrades.*Telecommuting permitted from anywhere in the U.S.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related IT field plus three (3) years of experience in Software Development or related occupation.

Three (3) years ofexperience must include: Automation scripting or programming using PowerShell and Groovy; Utilizing continuous integration toolsets, including Jenkins and Azure DevOps, to build and deploy software solutions; Container and microservice architecture, configuration and deployments using Docker and Kubernetes; Cloud computing platforms, including Amazon AWS; Using version control tools (GIT) in a collaborative code environment; Troubleshooting code compile issues and exceptions; Administering and troubleshooting server and application issues for Windows and Linux; Performing code dependency management with NuGet and Artifactory.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $143,200 to $170,400.

Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual's geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses & certifications.

In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. S&P Global Market Intelligence, Inc. is part of S&P Global and this role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.
