    Position Overview: Are you an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technician with a knack for mechanical troubleshooting?     Your Impact:

    • Rapid Response: Swiftly respond to and resolve mill breakdowns in cooperation with area operators to minimize downtime.
    • Failure Investigations: Conduct thorough investigations into equipment failures and implement long-term solutions to prevent future issues.
    • Maintenance Strategies: Actively develop and refine preventive maintenance strategies to enhance machinery lifespan and performance.
    • Documentation: Meticulously document maintenance activities and ensure diligent follow-up on unresolved issues from previous shifts.
    • Continuous Improvement: Champion continuous improvement initiatives in maintenance processes and resources, fostering a culture of innovation.
    • Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the meticulous installation, calibration, and routine maintenance of critical equipment, ensuring optimal operation and reliability.
    • Safety Compliance: Rigorously maintain lockout certifications and adhere to all organizational and regulatory safety standards.


    Requirements

    • Certification: Mechanic trade ticket or a 2-year degree in Mechanical studies, supplemented by relevant hands-on experience.
    • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in industrial mechanics, with a specialization in bearings, hydraulics, pumps, and gearboxes.
    • Skills: Proficiency in welding, fabrication, and advanced mechanical troubleshooting tools and techniques, including laser alignment.
    • Knowledge: A strong understanding of reliability techniques and lubrication principles.
    • Problem-Solving: Exceptional proactive troubleshooting abilities.
    • Flexibility: Willingness to work extended hours, rotating shifts, and at heights as necessary.
