    Sacred Circle Healthcare is seeking a full-time, Compliance Specialist, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
    Job Summary

    Overview:


    The Compliance Specialist will work to identify and mitigate potential risks of non-compliance and will assist with projects and audits to ensure Sacred Circle Healthcare operates in accordance with legal and ethical standards, and within relevant industry standards and regulations.

    Overall, they aim to protect the company from legal or reputational harm while maintaining a culture of integrity and ethical behavior.

    Work Schedule:
    To Be Determined with the availability of 8:00 am – 6:00 pm Monday through Friday. Evening and weekend work may be required as needed.


    The successful candidate:
    Manages day-to-day compliance programs. Works with key stakeholders to ensure company compliance with the overall company compliance program.
    Attends quality and compliance meetings
    Assists the Quality & Compliance Officer in all aspects of the Compliance Program.
    Identifies, investigates, and reports compliance issues, irregularities, and violations.
    Performs audits of the Quality Program, Infection Control and Safety Program.
    Ensures compliance internal audits are performed and completed in a timely manner.
    Ensures the company complies with relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
    Developing and providing employee training on compliance policies, practices, and reporting systems.
    Provides compliance training to all employees and assists with required training for the Business Council and Board of Directors.
    Verifies Conflict of Interest, HIPAA and other compliance forms are signed by all employees annually.
    Monitors newly hired employees are assigned education courses for special compliance training as required.
    Maintains records of compliance activities.
    Tracks and responds to complaints related to compliance related issues.
    Prepares and files compliance reports.
    Creates agendas and meeting minutes for all compliance meetings.
    Provides compliance tips for the company newsletter and ongoing compliance campaign activities.
    Assists with gathering of records, documents, and other information as needed for compliance activities.
    Assists with organizing risk assessment activities.
    Assists in annual review of arrangements to identify potential referral source issues and fair market value analysis needed.
    Ensures employees are receiving, reading company policies and sends reminder emails as needed.

    Minimum Requirements


    EDUCATION:
    Bachelor's degree in business, health administration or a related field


    EXPERIENCE:
    2 years of equivalent experience in the field

    Preferred Requirements:

    EXPERIENCE:
    Previous experience in compliance activities and previous experience with Microsoft Office
    Experience in a healthcare setting
    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
    Knowledge of laws, legal codes, procedures, compliance standards and other relevant regulatory standards.
    Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    Documenting and reporting skills
    Attention to detail
    Have integrity and be ethical
    Ability to use Microsoft Office
    Ability to problem solve efficiently and effectively
