- Full-time (average 40 hours per week)
- Schedule consists of an average of hour shifts per week to include up to 50% nights, weekends, holidays, and paid call

- Master of Science in Nursing with emphasis in the Nurse Practitioner program.
- Advanced Practical Nurse licensure or ability to successfully obtain licensure within three months of date of hire.

Position Summary
Washington University School of Medicine is actively recruiting dedicated and skilled Acute Care Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to join our dynamic healthcare teams in critical care.
These critical care roles are eligible for a $15,000 sign-on bonus and $5,000 relocation reimbursement, which will be discussed with interviewed candidates.
Position Details:
The advanced practice provider (ACNP/PA) will be employed by the Department of Anesthesiology within Washington University School of Medicine, a top ranked medical school in the country.
The ACNP/PA will work at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, a nationally recognized Magnet center and ranked among the nation's best hospitals by U.S.
News & World Report, and/or affiliated BJC community hospitals, and telemedicine.Opportunities include cardiothoracic ICU, surgical/burn/trauma ICU, combined medical/surgical ICUs, and telemedicine. ICU work locations will be determined based on the applicant's experience and professional interests.
Will practice as an independent provider in collaboration with a fellowship trained intensivist within diverse, skilled, inter-professional critical care teams.

Responsibilities include obtaining medical histories, performing physical examinations, participating in inter-professional rounds, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, designing and implementing plans of care, and performing invasive procedures

In our critical care environments, talents and skills are developed through intellectually stimulating work experiences, ample educational offerings, procedural simulation, and other learning venues.
Preferred QualificationsExperience with devices commonly utilized in cardiothoracic surgery patient population (for CTICU positions).

The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University.
