What You Can Expect:
Marvell's Network Switching Group (NSX) is looking for a software engineering leader to drive the development of software products for Enterprise and Data Center Networks. In this role, you will be instrumental in defining and implementing cutting-edge software solutions for switch silicon SDKs, ecosystem open software packages, and network operating systems.
As one of the key leaders, you will collaborate with the product team to create a software team vision that addresses the challenges in delivering comprehensive and differentiated product lines for Enterprise and Data Center networks. Your role involves shaping the software product architecture, defining release roadmaps, and aligning them with tier-1 customer requirements.
This position requires a blend of technical expertise and management acumen to balance staffing needs with technical considerations, anticipate customer requirements based on market trends, and drive long-term organizational plans and budgets.
Role Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product management to envision customer platforms leveraging standard networking silicon.
- Define and implement changes to the switching software portfolio alongside the architecture team.
- Manage the software product roadmap to ensure timely releases with high quality.
- Lead and oversee a global software development team across multiple sites.
- Engage with customers to address support requests and understand long-term product requirements.
- Define and execute growth plans for the team in alignment with market needs.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related fields.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in software development for networking or routing applications.
- Minimum 10 years of management experience in software engineering.
- Proficiency in network switch software stacks, network virtualization, SDN, and cloud-based network control software.
