Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and current WA license for weekend acute care coverage.

Responsibilities

• Work in an acute care hospital setting on a dedicated CT unit
• Provide inpatient, ED, and outpatient CT imaging services
• Average caseload is 1-2 scans per hour
• Department uses GE Optima 660 CT scanner, Epic EMR, and McKesson PACS
• Work schedule is Saturday to Monday, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• On-call coverage required every Wednesday from 11:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Department is designated as a Level 4 Trauma Center
• Professional scrubs in any color may be worn
• Job duties include performing inpatient, ED, and outpatient CT exams and assisting with IV starts on days as needed
• Two-week department-specific orientation provided
• On-site radiologist support available weekdays from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM and reachable by phone 24/7
• A dedicated transporter is available Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM
• No holiday coverage required
• Returning employees must not have been directly employed by associated facilities in the past year
• Pending licenses or certifications will not be accepted

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a CT Technologist
• Active WA state license at time of consideration (license required if applicable)
• Current ARRT (R), ARRT (CT), and BLS certifications required
• Experience with IV placement for CT exams
• Proficiency using Epic EMR and McKesson PACS preferred
• Copy of driver's license must be provided for consideration
• Two professional references: one supervisor from the last 12 months, and one peer or supervisor from the last 3 years, including employment dates and rehire eligibility
