    Description

    Diesel Mechanic - Late Shift

    Sarasota, Florida

    Late Shift - 11am to 8:30pm, Monday to Friday

    $ $32.00 per hour + Plenty of Overtime (1.5x) + OTE of $80,000 + Shop Based/No Travel + Career Progression + 401(k) + Excellent Company Benefits

    Are you a mechanic, looking for a shop-based role with no travel, plenty of overtime, an excellent benefits package and on target earnings of over $80,000?

    This is an excellent opportunity to join a business offering long-term job security, external company training, and the chance to progress to lead mechanic.

    This market-leading company is an industrial waste management organization that prides itself on fostering a supportive work environment and internal progression. Due to continual growth, they are looking to expand their mechanic team.

    In this role, you will perform routine maintenance and repairs on large diesel vehicles. You will troubleshoot and diagnose engines, and hydraulic and electrical issues. This is a shop-based role, with no travel.

    This role would suit a Diesel Mechanic who has a strong background in hydraulics looking for a shop-based position with lots of overtime specialist training and the chance to progress to Lead.

    The Role:

    • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and vehicles
    • Diagnose and troubleshoot engines, electrics & hydraulics
    • Enjoy a great work life balance in a shop based role with no travel and a flexible schedule
    • Late shift - 11am to 8:30pm, Monday to Friday

    The Candidate:

    • Diesel Mechanic - experience working on large vehicles (tractors, trucks, trailers, buses, etc)
    • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
    • Looking for long-term work for a stable company
