    Locum - Physician - Anesthesiology - Pediatric Dayton, OH

    Overview:We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pediatric Anesthesiologist to provide coverage at a Level 1 Trauma Center from February 2, 2026, through November 16, 2026. You will play a key role in supporting surgical teams in a busy hospital environment, supervising CRNAs, and delivering exceptional anesthesia care across approximately 50-60 cases per day. This assignment is ideal for those who thrive in a collaborative setting and are committed to patient-centered care.
    Required Skills:
    • Medical degree (MD or DO) with valid state medical license in Ohio.
    • Board-certified or eligible in Anesthesiology with Pediatric specialization.
    • Current DEA registration and applicable certifications.
    • Proven experience in hospital-based anesthesia practice, managing neonatal to adult patients.
    • Ability to supervise CRNAs and work effectively within a team.
    • Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills.
    • Flexibility to adapt to a high-volume surgical environment.
    Nice to Have Skills:
    • Prior experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center or similar high-acuity setting.
    • Additional certifications in Pediatric Anesthesiology.
    • Experience supervising anesthesia providers.
    • Familiarity with electronic medical records systems.
    Preferred Education and Experience:
    • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
    • At least 2 years of relevant anesthesia practice experience.
    • Prior locum or temporary coverage experience is advantageous.
    Other Requirements:
    • Ability to work 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
    • No call responsibilities required.
    • Must complete credentialing requirements, including background checks and fingerprinting, immediately upon acceptance.
    • Compliance with facility s onboarding documentation, including licensure, certifications, CAQH login, and proof of health and safety certifications.
    • Travel expenses including mileage, flights, hotels, and rental cars are reimbursed according to facility policies.
