    Staff Accountant

    Duties:

    • Perform balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
    • Conduct bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of recorded transactions
    • Utilize Sage accounting software to process and record financial transactions
    • Manage accounts payable process, including reviewing and processing invoices, and ensuring timely payments
    • Assist with financial accounting tasks, such as preparing financial statements and reports
    • Maintain accurate and uptodate records of financial transactions in the general ledger
    • Perform general ledger reconciliations to identify and resolve any discrepancies
    • Prepare journal entries to record financial transactions accurately
    • Stay updated on technical accounting standards and ensure compliance with GAAP

    Skills:

    • Strong knowledge of balance sheet reconciliation processes
    • Proficiency in conducting bank reconciliations
    • Experience working with Sage accounting software
    • Familiarity with accounts payable procedures and practices
    • Solid understanding of financial accounting principles and practices
    • Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining financial records
    • Ability to perform general ledger reconciliations effectively
    • Proficient in preparing journal entries for accurate financial reporting
    • Knowledge of technical accounting standards and their application in practice
    • Understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
