Responsibilities
- The Computer Operator III processes a range of scheduled routines.
- In addition to operating the system and resolving common error conditions this worker diagnoses and acts on machine stoppage and error conditions not fully covered by existing procedures and guidelines e.g resetting switches other controls or making mechanical adjustments to maintain restore equipment operations.
- In response computer output instructions error conditions Computer Operator III may deviate standard procedures if standard procedures do not provide solution refers problems which do not respond corrective procedures person supervisory higher individual contributor level.
- Install configure maintain network equipment services.
- Diagnosing resolving network issues ensuring seamless data communication connectivity.
Maintenance system upgrades Make hardware software updates Move equipment needed facility relocate rearrange hardware changes Mission Work within established configuration change management policies ensure awareness approval success changes made to network infrastructure.
