    Apollo Technical has an immediate need for a Electrical Engineer in the Orlando, FL area.
    This is a full-time direct position.

    Out client is a Tier One supplier of Instrument and Electrical Control Systems to global companies in the Power Generation and the Oil and Gas industries.


    Requirements:


    Electrical Engineering or related Bachelors degree from an accredited college3 years of prior relevant experience Design of skidded equipment is a plusProficiency with AutoCAD, Microsoft OfficeProficiency with Siemens NX is a plusKnowledge of industrial-grade electrical components, including switchgear, controlgear, motorcontrollers, drives, power supplies, programmable controllers, push buttons, relays, timersExperience with generating wiring diagrams, control panel layouts, Bills of Materials, SAMA logicdiagrams, electrical installation diagrams, and testing procedures based on customerspecifications, P&IDs, and General Arrangement drawingsExperience with 600V and below power and control circuit design, including sizing circuitprotection and wiring and developing control logicExperience with PLC ladder logic and HMI design, particularly with Allen Bradley, Siemens, andGE componentsKnowledge of UL and NEC standards generally, but specifically UL508A , NFPA70, and FMstandards related to industrial control panel design, electrical installations, fire systems,communications, heat tracing, and hazardous environmentsKnowledge of industrial-grade process components, including valves, transmitters, switches,pumps, motors, and heaters is a plusKnowledge of IEC and ATEX standards is a plusPE license is a plusResponsibilities & Duties:Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the candidate will be expected to take responsibility for technicaldecisions related to the electrical portion of the product design with minimal supervision, which includesdocumenting design decisions throughout developments, responding to the needs of clients and vendors,and supporting the Projects and Manufacturing teams as needed.
