    Director of Operations


    leads service and operations organization for Regional Distribution Centers (RDC) to ensure exceptional customer service is provided at competitive cost levels.

    Demonstrates strong management quality to drive performance, improve competency and productivity of RDC operations. Ensures strong Operational and Inventory controls. Ensures safe & best practices are implemented and executed to drive continuous safety progress. Creates a culture of customer centricity, creativity, courage, commitment, and compliance.

    This position is responsible to implement best practices within the Regional Distribution Center to include:

    policies and procedures, resource management with focus on Warehouse optimization, people development, inventory management, administrative functions, safety requirements, asset management, facility maintenance, maintenance programs and employee training.

    Ensure growth and profitability of the RDC while promoting TBC core values.

    Job Responsibilities

    Oversee all aspects of the Regional Distribution Center as it relates to productivity, safety, quality, inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, shipping, receiving and facilities management.

    Manage and develop a high-performance team, including hiring, training, and performance management, to ensure the smooth and effective operation of the regional distribution center
    Provide and analyze reporting as needed
    Utilization, protection and management of company assets
    Collaborate with HR Business partner to provide training, coaching and engagement of RDC personnel
    Develop depth and improve quality by encouraging cross-training and knowledge sharing.
    Assist in staffing and recruitment as needed
    Assist in developing succession planning for the RDC
    Operational Productivity
    Cost Performance ($ Cost/ Unit)
    Operations Development (Methods, Training, Staffing)
    Ensuring the RDC is compliant with all Federal and State Laws; Guidelines and Company Policies

    Qualifications
    A 4-year degree in Logistics, Business or other related disciplines is preferred or equivalent experience in a distribution or transportation environment
    5+ plus years of experience leading teams preferred
    Ideal candidate has 10 plus years of relevant experience in a RF Distribution or Warehouse environment
    Strong understanding of leading practices in KPI development, continuous improvement, business and root cause analytics
    Computer experience including Microsoft Office Suite; Warehouse Management Systems
    SAP experience a plus
    Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights holidays and weekends
    24/7 access to cell phone, email and security system in case of an emergency
    Outstanding communication skills
    Proven track record of effectively collaborating with company stakeholders across the planning and execution organization.
    Strong business acumen and understanding of P&L and operating performance metrics
    Ability to lift up to 50lbs repetitively while bending and twisting and ability to occasionally lift more than 50lbs
    Ability to pass a pre-employment background and drug screen
