    Kelly Science & Clinical is seeking a Senior Quality Control Chemist opportunity with one of our clients, a leading small molecule CDMO at their Irvine, CA facility.     Salary: $75,000- 90,000

    Overview

    The incumbent will join our client's Quality Control Department and will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our pharmaceutical products through meticulous analytical testing and method development.

    Responsibilities

    • comprehensive analytical testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using state-of-the-art instrumentation.
    • and troubleshoot analytical instrumentation to ensure accurate and reliable results.
    • thorough laboratory investigations when necessary, documenting all findings in compliance with regulatory standards.
    • peer review for data generated by fellow chemists and technicians, ensuring accuracy and protocol adherence.
    • validate, and troubleshoot analytical methods to enhance efficiency and accuracy in testing processes.
    • method transfers from other facilities and departments, ensuring seamless integration and consistency.
    • and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and analytical methods to reflect current best practices and regulatory requirements.
    • in equipment calibrations and qualification activities to maintain compliance with industry standards.
    • laboratory management in employee training initiatives, ensuring proficiency in laboratory procedures and protocols.
    • with laboratory management to prepare for internal, customer, and agency audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory expectations.
    • any other related duties as required to support the objectives of the Quality Control Department.

    Qualifications

    • degree in chemistry or a related discipline.
    • of 8 years of experience in a chemistry laboratory setting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • experience (8+ years) with analytical instrumentation, including but not limited to HPLC, GC, CE, ICP, FTIR, and dissolution apparatus.
    • experience (5+ years) in a GLP or cGMP environment is preferred.
    • in following standard operating procedures and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
    • written and verbal communication skills.
    • organizational abilities, with the capacity to prioritize and execute tasks efficiently under minimal supervision.
    • attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest quality and compliance standards.
