Our client, a well-established Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) provider in Santa Ana, CA is currently seeking a Procurement Specialist.

The Procurement Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials and components for the company's full turnkey contract manufacturing business.

This position involves sourcing electronic components, negotiating with suppliers, and maintaining inventory levels. The ideal candidate will have experience in electronic component procurement and a strong understanding of alternate sourcing techniques.

*Responsibilities: * *Procurement:

• Purchase goods or services that meet the organization's quantity and quality expectations.

* *Vendor Relationships:

• Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers to secure competitive prices.

* *Contract Negotiation:

• Evaluate and negotiate contracts with vendors.

* *Inventory Management:

• Track inventory levels and restock goods as needed.

* *Market Awareness:

• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and new products.

* *Pricing Analysis:

• Compare available goods with industry trends to determine appropriate pricing.

* *BOM Pricing:

• Obtain Bill of Materials (BOM) pricing to support Request for Quotation (RFQ) preparation.

* *Component Procurement:

• Responsible for procuring components for projects awarded to the company.
