    Overview:
    The HR Coordinator will focus on assisting with the day-to-day operations of the HR Shared Services.

    The HR Coordinator is a multi-faceted role that supports the functions of Payroll, Human Resources, Talent Acquisition and other Vestis Corporate departments.


    Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
    Preparing or updating employment records related to hiring, transferring, promoting, and terminating.

    Explaining human resources policies, procedures, and standards to new and existing employees

    Monitoring the new hire onboarding/new hire paperwork process through completion

    Answer employee's queries about HR-related policies and procedures.


    Assist with responding to inquiries that are submitted to the HR, which may include, but not limited to, questions involving HR processes and services, Recruitment, Benefits, Compensation, Talent Management, Learning and Development and Payroll.

    Processing all personnel action forms and ensuring proper approval

    Partner with Talent Acquisition for completion of hire process for external hires.

    Monitor and track leave of absence for employees in conjunction with leave of absence vendor and market center location.

    Completion of other administrative tasks as needed.


    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
    Candidate must have the ability to partner with all levels of the organization.

    Must also possess the ability to support a diverse group of internal clients

    Strong organizational, time management skills

    Knowledge of Microsoft Office is necessary along with HR system experience, preferably, Ultimate

    Working experience leveraging Microsoft SharePoint and ServiceNow preferred


    Working Environment/Safety Requirements:
    No special physical requirements for this position. Position is situated in an office environment.


    Experience/Qualifications:
    1-2 years of HR or administrative experience (Strong data entry)

    • Experience working in a team setting, preferably as part of a Shared Services team
    • Experience working in a high volume, fast paced and changing environment
    • High school diploma or GED

    Compensation:

    The hourly rate that Vestis reasonably expects to pay for this position ranges from $23.00 to $26.00, depending on circumstances including an applicant's skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors.
