    GridIron is looking for a Cloud Engineer with Cloud Expertise to support our Agile Data Architecture & Engineering Team that falls within our support of the Chief Data Officer.

    This individual will help the team with accessing cloud resources utilizing virtual private technologies like Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) and Azure Virtual Private Network (VPN); transferring data from multiple/federated sources to cloud hosted object storage using the secure file transfer protocol (SFTP); process streaming data using cloud or other technologies; among other responsibilities.

    Deloitte is looking for Cloud Systems Engineers for the CE-TRDS Application Development Project that falls within our support of the Mission Solutions Division and Chief Data Officer.

    The team member will provide cloud systems engineering support for all application development, maintenance, and enhancement activities for the CE-TRDS application across the lifecycle and work to implement requirements gathered from mission users.


    Duties:

    • Verifying stability, interoperability, portability, security, or scalability of cloud system architectures.
    • Developing cloud system engineering, cloud software engineering, cloud system integration, or cloud distributed system architectures.
    • Collaborating with engineers or software developers to select appropriate cloud design solutions or ensure the compatibility of cloud system components.
    • Identifying cloud system data, hardware, or software components required to meet user needs.
    • Communicating with staff or clients to understand specific cloud system requirements.
    • Researching, testing, or verifying proper functioning of software patches and fixes.
    • Providing advice on project costs, design concepts, or design changes.
    • Performing security analyses of developed or packaged software components.
    • Providing technical guidance or support for the development or troubleshooting of cloud systems.
    • Documenting cloud design specifications, installation instructions, and other system-related information.
    • Recommending cloud design specifications for adoption within the DHS IE classified environment.
