    Description


    LHH Recruitment Solutions formally Accounting Principals is c urrently seeking a dedicated Treasury Analyst to join a team for an office in Bergen County, NJ.

    The ideal candidate will have prior treasury experience, intermediate Excel skills, and the ability to work on-site 100% during training.

    This position offers an opportunity for growth and development within the organization.

    Type:
    Full-Time, Temp to Permanent, hybrid once trained

    Location:
    Bergen County, NJ

    Compensation:
    $50,000 - $70,000 when permanent


    Primary Responsibilities:
    Conduct daily analysis of cash transactions across various accounts and prepare comprehensive reports to facilitate monthly bank reconciliations.

    Compile transactional data for bond payments, employee benefits, and payrolls, and initiate wire transfers for health plans, pensions, and rental payments.

    Maintain precise records of cash balances and oversee the transfer of surplus funds between accounts.
    Develop monthly cash flow projections based on financial obligations and fund availability.
    Supervise activities related to the Revolving Line of Credit Agreement.
    Generate monthly and year-to-date summaries detailing cash activity.
    Create periodic cash flow projections in alignment with operational budgets and historical trends.
    Perform variance analysis between actual cash flows and projected results, comparing against operational outcomes.
    Monitor and manage reserve levels mandated under bond agreements.
    Ensure timely payment of principal and interest as per bond terms.
    Prepare annual bond compliance schedules for trustee submission.
    Coordinate with brokerage firms to facilitate the sale of donated securities and address trust-related matters.
    Collaborate with in-house counsel and trustees on estate and IRA distributions.
    Execute special projects as delegated.
    Maintain organized files containing correspondence, legal agreements, leases, and stock certificates.

    Minimum Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
    At least three years of experience in financial analysis or treasury, preferably within a nonprofit or university environment.
    Proficiency in computerized financial systems.
    Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other relevant software applications.
