All Medical Personnel - Nursing is seeking a LPN / LVN Psychiatric for a local contract job in Big Spring, Texas.

Local LPN - Psych 

Big Spring, TX 

Duration: 26 weeks

Shift: Rotating (every other weekend off) 

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely under the supervision of the Unit RN and Unit Nurse Manager.
• Provide individualized patient care, including health assessments and education tailored to patient needs.
• Document all care activities thoroughly in compliance with facility and regulatory standards.
• Perform computer-based data entry; comprehensive training will be provided.
• Assist with patient monitoring and support skilled nursing interventions as required.

Qualifications:

• Valid and current LVN license in Texas.
• Must meet all immunization requirements.
• Ability to pass required drug testing and background fingerprinting.
• Completion of all facility and mandated training programs.

Schedule & Duration:

• Alternating shifts to accommodate staffing needs, with every other weekend off.
• Flexibility to start on any weekday (Monday-Friday), with at least 5 days for pre-employment processing.
• Full-time, 40 hours per week.
• Mentorship provided: 2-3 weeks of on-unit training with experienced LVNs.
• Contract term: 6 months, with potential for extension based on performance and staffing needs.
