    Description

    POSITION PURPOSE:
    The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive OB/GYN care services to patients. The individual should have expertise in addressing a wide range of medical issues, from routine preventive care to complex and challenging conditions.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:

    • Diagnosis and treatment of women-specific conditions including certain types of cancer and ailments like menopause.
    • Educating expectant mothers on the labor and delivery process.
    • Conducting regular check-ups.
    • Offering prenatal and postpartum care to new mothers.
    • Development and execution of health management plans in collaboration with patients.
    • Maintenance of patient records following the designated format (problem-oriented record system).
    • Preparation of letters, summaries, referrals, etc., to ensure coordinated care.
    • Contribution to staff and community health education initiatives.
    • Participation in weekly case discussions and chart audits.
    • Engagement in ongoing medical education activities meeting a minimum of 50 credit hours annually.
    • Completion of a stipulated number of patient encounters per year.
    • Fulfillment of other duties as directed by the Supervisor.
    • Adherence to QCHC House Rules.
    • Accurate maintenance of logs and records.
    • Active involvement in the Quality Assurance Program.
    • Involvement in quarterly peer assessments.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

    • Proficiency in delivering telehealth services.
    • Capacity to work independently.
    • Collaborative team member with a strong work ethic.
    • Readiness to commute to various QCHC medical facilities.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Education:

    • Valid Medical Degree and successful completion of Residency from an accredited institution.
    • PA Licensure
    • Board Certification
    • Authorization from National Data Bank

    Schedule:

    • 8-hour shift
    • Day Shift
    • Monday through Friday
