    POSITION DESCRIPTION:


    The Marketing Specialist is responsible for promoting SIHF Healthcare, it's service lines and primary and specialty health centers; development and execution of marketing campaigns, writing and editing for newsletters, press releases, advertising and brochures, special event planning, and outreach.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Assists director in conducting research, writing strategies for marketing and advertising campaigns and overseeing execution and measurement of campaigns.

    Identify and establish metrics and measures of success for all local marketing efforts, creating a metrics dashboard to report outcomes monthly, quarterly and yearly.

    Writes and edits copy for internal and external publications, including press releases, articles, print ads, direct mail, radio and collateral materials.

    Identifies sponsorship and promotional opportunities, as well as plans, executes and supports special events associated with sponsorships.
    Assists in maintaining external website content.
    Identify and monitor competitor activities and efforts within the area
    Assist in crisis situations in a professional manner.
    Assists in maintaining consistency in the corporate image and branding of SIHF Healthcare System.
    At the instruction of superiors, perform various other tasks as required.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS,


    ABILITIES:
    Strong creative and professional writing skills
    Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
    Professional, mature, and projects a polished image.
    Works independently or in a team setting with little supervision.
    Manages professional time effectively.
    Completes project work in a timely manner.
    Uses proper judgment in handling confidential information.
    Multi-tasks project work/corporate initiatives.
    Ability to provide professional creative and innovative ideas on project work.
    Projects a positive image of the organizations at all times.
    Familiarity with SEO and SEM best Practices.
    Familiarity with marketing analytics tools.
    Direct work experience in the healthcare industry.


    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
    Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field from an accredited college or university is preferred.
    A minimum of 3-year experience preferred.


    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:


    Light physical activity including being able to lift up to 50 pounds required to set-up event planning materials; in addition to performing non-strenuous daily activities of an administrative nature.

    Ability to sit at desk and computer for extended period of time. Must travel between organizational facilities and SIHF Healthcare Corporate office.


    WORK SCHEDULE:
    Normal work hours for this position are Monday through Friday dayshift. Attendance at off-site meetings will be required with no overnight stay. Occasional out-of-town travel may be required.
