    Senior Cad Technician

    Senior CAD Technician Required Skills

    • Advanced knowledge of residential and/or commercial construction techniques, construction documents, and CAD concepts. General knowledge of building codes.
    • Advanced CAD/BIM drafting skills required. Proficiency in Revit preferred.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
    • Consistent ability to successfully meet deadlines.
    • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
    • Ability to produce deliverables with little or no guidance.

    Senior CAD Technician Required Experience

    • Education: A.S. in Architecture, Engineering or Construction related field or significant experience in a professional environment drafting residential and/or commercial construction documentation.
    • 5 plus years 2D and 3D experience in AutoCAD Architecture, Revit or Sapphire Build required.

    As a Senior CAD Technician for Fieldstone A&E, you'll be working alongside our dedicated team of client managers, architects, engineers and designers. You'll be producing high quality construction documentation using various CAD software on this team. The candidate we're looking for has an exceptional ability to focus in a bustling team environment, utilize strong time management skills, while occasionally tending to multiple projects at once, ensuring they are of the highest quality once completed.     Senior CAD Technician Duties & Responsibilities

    • Prepares complex Architecture and Engineering construction drawings for residential and commercial projects utilizing AutoCAD Architecture, REVIT and/or Sapphire Build (Blackpoint).
    • Produces Lot Specific and Master plans in accordance with Fieldstone and/or client-specific standards.
    • Develops and drafts architectural and engineering details and plans, assists management in preparing proposals and generates correspondence for clients and managers.
    • Performs fieldwork, documentation, research and drafting tasks of architectural and engineering data as requested by clients or managers.
    • Maintains dynamic communication with contractors, clients, staff and the general public for any architectural, engineering or construction issues.
    • Consistently applies Fieldstone's Quality Control procedures and takes ownership of their work.
    • Manages the proper filing of project submittals, RFIs and other project records both electronic and paper.
    • Maintains and complies with Fieldstone and client-specific standards (CAD, File Management, etc.).
    • Participates in occasional team meetings to help resolve project issues such as coordination, scheduling, and technical concerns.
    • Document time and expenses using Fieldstone's business management system.
    • Fosters a culture of external and internal client service.
