Job Title: Tissue Processor II

The Histology Technician will be responsible for performing various tasks in the laboratory including receiving, processing, and preparing patient tissue specimens for microscopic examination and analysis by the Pathologist. This includes logging, batching, cutting, mounting and staining procedures.

This role is ideal for those with a passion for working with tissues and have strong attention to detail. The ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment are essential skills required for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepares tissue specimens using chemicals, embeds them correctly on slides that need to go under microscopes.


• Maintains inventory of reagents needed daily operations.  Performs tests regularly as part of routine quality control checks.
