    Stanley Black & Decker seeks Hardware Engineer (Towson, MD or remote w/in USA).

    Responsible for implementing motor control platforms for brushless professional power tool products that satisfy end user needs in the Global Tools and Storage business unit.

    Design of new products and platforms, modify existing designs, improve production techniques, and develop test procedures. Bachelor's in Electrical or Electronics Engg or rltd.

    Ability with:

    Analog hardware design, troubleshooting, DFMEA, failure analysis; oscilloscope, voltage and current probes, DMM, thermal camera, and equivalent equipment; Power electronics and heat dissipation methods; Circuit simulation with LTSpice or similar.

    Skills can be learned professionally or academically.
