Job summary
The Department of Cell and Developmental Biology at the Perelman School of Medicine seeks candidates for a Research Associate position. The appointment will be initially for one year with continuation based on satisfactory performance.
This role requires expertise in mouse liver and beta cell biology, gene editing in vivo, guide RNA design, AAV delivery, genomics, cell culture techniques, FACS,
demonstrated writing skills.
- Perform investigations of heterochromatin proteins on gene silencing in adult mouse hepatocytes (liver) and beta cells (pancreas).
- Develop in-vivo Crispr-based gene editing approaches with phenotypic and genotype analysis.
