- At least 2 years' experience in the restaurant industry.
- Basic knowledge of food and cooking techniques.
- Basic understanding and use of kitchen equipment including but not limited to knives, fryers, ovens, grills, small equipment, and dish machines.
- Desire to gain culinary knowledge.
- Able to read and follow standardized recipes.
- Strong knowledge of proper food handling procedures.
- Able to work as part of a team in a busy kitchen atmosphere.

Description
*Southern Foodservice Management, Inc.*, a national contract food service provider, is looking for a detail-oriented *Grill Cook *for our corporate dining facility at *Hitachi* located in *Norman, OK 73701*.The shift schedule is *Monday – Friday,* with weekends once per quarter, no nights and no holidays. The pay range is *$ $15.00 per hour* and paid weekly.
You will be responsible for preparing and grilling foods to meet specific customer preferences and you will be required to handle tasks in other areas of the kitchen in addition to the grill stations.
You should have knowledge of food sanitation, be able to follow recipes, and be able to work quickly and neatly.
